Christmas Tree Farm Adventure
We always visit the local Christmas tree farm to pick out our tree, I can’t wait until October is old enough to help choose it. Of course write to Santa and, in the true spirit of Christmas, pick out a gift to send to a little boy or girl less fortunate than him. - @thehousethatblackbuilt
Spreading Joy Through Giving
This will be Atlas’s first real Christmas as he was a tiny 3 days old last year. A tradition we want to celebrate is a trip to the Christmas Tree farm to choose our tree and to decorate it in our Christmas pyjamas - @mamatothebest4_norfolk
Christmas Eve Boxs
This year is our first year starting our traditions with our twins and we are combining both of our childhood traditions. We will be opening Christmas Eve boxes and making mince pies for Father Christmas on Christmas Eve. We will also be leaving a stocking at the end of the boys beds ready to open in the morning. We are excited to start our traditions and hope to make Christmas as magical as we can. - @fabandell
Tree Decorating
One of our favourite family traditions at Christmas time is putting up our tree together. This year we will be doing it as a family of 6! We love going to choose a real tree at our local garden centre and letting the little ones decorate while wearing their favourite Christmas pyjamas and dancing to our favourite Christmas music! One of my favourite traditions is new pyjamas on Christmas Eve. My mum always did it for us so we woke up in them on Christmas Day, and now I do it for my boys too! - @bethsandland
Reflecting on the Year
I’ve always adored the magical cosiness that Christmas decorations bring - the twinkly lights and the sparkly baubles. So every year, even as a child I dreaded taking down the tree - it was one of my least favourite days of the year. When we had Pennie, I wanted to change that, so last year we began a new tradition. As we took down the tree, we put on music that made us happy and talked about all the things we were excited for the new year to bring. Everything we’re grateful for and how packing up the decorations symbolised the start of new exciting adventures. I hope as she grows up, rather than dreading taking the decorations down like I did, it will make her grateful for the magic they bought and excited for the next chapter. - @lottiedrynan
