An urban style or compact pushchair might suit you best. An urban style of pushchair usually has smaller (read nippier) wheels, a lighter and sometimes slimmer frame, making this type of pushchair ideal if you’re navigating city streets or nipping in and out of shops. Often lighter and more portable than all-terrain options, their smaller wheels might not be suitable for taking on bumpy country walks. A compact pushchair is very similar – folding down to a compact size, lightweight and portable, it’s a storage-friendly option if you’ll be using public transport or are short on storage space at home (think tight hallway or tiny car boot). Not all urban and compact pushchairs are suitable from birth, so check before you buy if you’re buying for a newborn.
